Subject: Stands Up
This show stands up to the 1 year test. It still sounds as smooth, groovy and slinky as when we were there. Seems these days it's not as easy to chase the sound. One can hit a lot of Dead ends, and that comes through in a lot of bands. This is far from a dead end. The Supplication sealed the deal for me, still does. It speaks to how righteously these guys were playing on that night. (Don't sleep on this Terrapin sandwich; it's filled with all good ingredients.) Here's to hoping they'll pull off a few more full on East Coast tours. Westies seem to get the gravy these days. Sigh . . .

This is an amazing quality recording, and I can't count the number of time's I've heard it since this awesome night. This was the best show I've been to since seeing Furthur in the spring of '11. The little bit of rain at the beginning of the first set didn't even matter once they really got going with TLEO, and they ended the set with some real power. The sunset breaking through the clouds for Franklin's Tower made us feel we were all rolling away the dew along with Phil. I can't even fully express my feelings about the second set. The Other One jam in 7 time between Estimated and Supplication was such a tease, but we loved the short bit of it. Eyes. Eyes eyes eyes of the world coming out of that jam...Phil and Chimenti were the real stars of this one, not to belittle Kadlecik at all. And the envelopment of the whole second set in the Terrapin Suite blew our minds when it came full circle. A slow build of feedback shattered by John bringing us into At a Siding almost brought me to my knees. Thank you so much Furthur, and thank you Bill!

Glad that so many say that the venue was a good one. I volunteer there and we do our best to make everyone welcome. The full name of the venue is Bethel Woods Center for the Arts.

Another fine performance from Furthur. I have listened to just about all the shows and this one ranks as my favorite so far. Maybe it is the energy captured here or that it was taped by the finest taper on tour. Great show and maybe Bill's finest to date.

I'm only at BTW but I need to immediately express my heartfelt gratitude to Bill Goldberg for a wonderful recording and super-fast upload. It's amazing how last night I was following @deadheadland's updates from Bethel and this morning I'm lucky enough to listen to the show on LMA. Grateful. Always.

Subject: Sick Second Set
Have not listened to the recording yet, as far as the show, thought it started out a litle slow and began to pick up steam, but finished strong. The second set was incredible from the beginning to the end. One great jam after another.
